On November 10, 2025, the results of the "2026 Chinese Truck of the Year (CTOY) Evaluation" were officially released at the 2025 China Commercial Vehicles Show (CCVS). The CTOY Jury awarded the "2026 Truck Innovation Award (China)" (TIAC 2026) to the newly launched Beijing Trucks " iZhuimeng " 710 hybrid tractor. This is also the second time Beijing Trucks has won an award in this evaluation, following its 2024 “CTOY” title with the “Fuxing” model in this evaluation, demonstrating its continued leadership in the field of heavy truck technology innovation.

TIAC was established by the CTOY Jury to recognize trucks equipped with innovative technologies, including alternative power systems, intelligent assisted driving technology upgrades, and new material applications, which are innovative and have promising future development prospects. The selection criteria for this award are consistent with the "Chinese Truck of the Year": participating models must have been launched in the past 12 months and have made outstanding contributions to the improved road transportation efficiency. The evaluation criteria involve multiple key indexes, including technological innovation, comfort, safety, driving performance, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, and total cost of ownership (TCO).

During the testing process, members of the CTOY Jury highly praised the power performance of the iZhuimeng 710 hybrid tractor. In terms of power system, all core components of the iZhuimeng 710 are purpose-built for hybrid applications, including the Foton Cummins Miller cycle engine specially for hybrid use that optimizes combustion efficiency and power output for hybrid conditions, the 12-gear AMT hybrid transmission that improves shift response speed by 20%, and the 30 kWh capacity dedicated power battery that supports 8C fast charging and has a cycle life of over 8,000 times, all achieving deep hardware matching and efficient collaboration. The model has strong power, with a comprehensive power of up to 710 horsepower, which is sufficient to cope with various complex road conditions and heavy load requirements.

The members of the CTOY Jury also affirmed the innovative performance of the iZhuimeng 710 in multiple details, including a 30 km predictive fuel-electric distribution algorithm, predictive cruise fuel saving technology, low wind resistance optimization design, and extremely low noise control in pure electric mode. At the same time, the model is equipped with human-friendly configuration, such as a large-sized central control screen and multifunctional airbag seats, thereby further enhancing the driving experience.

Yu Jing, Chairman of the CTOY Jury, summarized the Jury’s opinions and indicated, “The Beijing Trucks iZhuimeng 710 has achieved innovative breakthroughs in the power system. The fuel electric parallel system ensures strong and stable power output, providing customized solutions for typical transportation scenarios such as long-distance heavy loads and mountainous roads with multiple slopes. It is in line with users' demands for high power, high value, low energy consumption, and intelligent heavy-duty truck products in the current environment.
